Zachary Threlkeld, MD

Dr. Threlkeld cares for critically ill patients with acute neurologic illness at Stanford Hospital. He completed fellowship training in neurocritical care at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and he completed his residency training in neurology at the University of California, San Francisco. He has a clinical and research interest in severe traumatic brain injury. His research uses advanced imaging modalities like resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) as tools to improve diagnostic accuracy, enhance prognostication, and amplify recovery from coma and other acute disorders of consciousness.
