Yvette Wong, PhD

Yvette Wong is an Assistant Professor in Neurology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Her research lab investigates novel organelle dynamics using super-resolution live cell microscopy and their role in neurodegenerative diseases. She obtained her BA in Biology & Mathematics from Cornell University, and her PhD in Neuroscience from University of Pennsylvania. For her research on mitochondria-lysosome contact sites, she was awarded the NIH K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award from NINDS, and the Warren Alpert Distinguished Scholars Award.
