Yair Mina, MD

Yair Mina is a clinical fellow at the Neuroimmunology and Neurovirology Division, National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, NIH. He graduated medical school from Tel-Aviv University with distinction, and then completed his neurology residency at Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, during which he found interest in neuroinfectious-diseases and established an independent clinic for these patients. He pursued his interest in neuroinfectious-diseases taking his current clinical fellow position at NIH, under the mentorship of Dr. Avindra Nath and Dr. Steve Jacobson, with the plan of returning to his hospital in Israel to lead clinical and research work in the field.
