Xu Andrews Zhang, MD, PhD

Xu Zhang is an assistant professor in the Translational Neuroscience Center, Graduate School of Medicine, International University of Health and Welfare, Okawa, Japan. As a PhD student, she majored in autoantibody research, particularly focusing on neurofascin 155 antibodies, at the Department of Neurology, Kyushu University, Japan, for one year and six months as an international exchange student. After graduation, she continued to study autoantibodies in CIDP at the Department of Neurology, Kyushu University for another year, and then has moved to the current institution. She is now interested in novel autoantibody search in CIDP, particularly nodopathy/paranodopathy type of demyelinating diseases.
