Victor Sung, MD

University of Alabama at Birmingham Medicine

Dr. Sung is originally from Houston, TX and completed medical school at UT-Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He completed neurology residency and movement disorders fellowship at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He is currently an Associate Professor of Neurology in the Division of Movement Disorders at UAB. He is the Director of the UAB Huntington's Disease Clinic and is Co-Director of the UAB School of Medicine Neuroscience Module. Dr. Sung received the President's Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2019 and the A.B. Baker Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award from the American Academy of Neurology in 2021.
