Stephanie Eid, PhD

Stephanie A. Eid, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Neurology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Eid received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Paris Descartes, Sorbonne Paris Cité in 2017, and is trained in neuroscience, molecular biology, and physiology. She has extensive expertise in diabetic complications, oxidative stress, NADPH oxidase biology, and animal models of type 1 and type 2 diabetes. She has published 19 manuscripts and has presented her findings at 4 international scientific conferences. Dr. Eid has made contributions to the field of diabetic complications and diabetic neuropathy through the use of complementary in vivo and in vitro approaches, including oxidative stress evaluation and the use of systems biology approaches in murine and human neuropathy.
