Sara Bitarafan, BS
Georgia Institute of Technology
Sara is a first-year graduate student in interdisciplinary Bioengineering program at Georgia Institute of Technology. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech. Her research focuses on characterizing neuroinflammatory dynamics in glial cells using computational modeling. She is interested in using systems modeling not only to understand the neuroinflammation dynamics but also find ways to manipulate the system to control neuroinflammation in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and traumatic brain injury.
