Rawan Tarawneh, MD

The Ohio State University
I am an Assistant Professor of Neurology, a board-certified neurologist with special UCNS qualification in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry, and a translational neuroscientist with experience in biomarker discovery and bioinformatics. My research utilizes advanced bioinformatics to identify novel molecular and genetic biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. I have been particularly interested in the identification of novel markers for synaptic dysfunction in AD and the new pathways by which immune dysregulation contributes to neurodegeneration in AD.
