Dr. Ramesh Neelamegam, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiology, PET Section Chief for the Neurodegeneration Radiochemistry at the Research Imaging Institute and Director of Research Radiochemistry at the Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative diseases within the UT Health San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Neelamegam trained as a synthetic chemist and PET radiochemist, he has >10 years of

experience developing PET radioligands for neurodegenerative disorders, in both academia and industry, including tracer designs, synthesis, radiotracer production for preclinical and clinical research studies resulted more than 25 publications and a couple dozen of presentations at the national and international meetings.
