Naveen Kondru, DVM, PhD
Dr. Kondru is research involves understanding distinct seeding mechanisms of neurotoxic misfolded protein strains. Dr. Kondru has expertise in Neuroscience, Toxicology and Veterinary Medicine and passionate about contributing to cutting edge diagnosis and therapeutic development of neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Kondru’s research has provided compelling evidence that RT-QuIC assay has the diagnostic potential for Parkinson’s, MSA, Prions and related protein misfolding diseases. As evident form research publications, Dr. Kondru optimized a wide variety of biospecimens such as the brain, CSF, and more interestingly from peripheral tissues such as submandibular glands and skin tissue from patients.
