Michael Shah Guo, MD, PhD

Michael Guo is a PGY4 neurology resident at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine and did his PhD work at Harvard on the genetics of quantitative traits. He is currently interested in applying genetics to understanding the pathophysiology of neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s and multiple sclerosis. Following residency, he will be pursuing an NIH R25 fellowship in cognitive neurology at the University of Pennsylvania and will be focusing on the role of RNA binding proteins in Alzheimer’s disease.
