Michael Glendinning, BA

Michael Glendinning graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Neuroscience in 2017. Michael currently works in the laboratory of Dritan Agalliu at the Columbia University Medical Center (CUIMC), studying the molecular biology of blood-brain barrier disruption in neurologic diseases, including SARS-CoV-2 infection, ischemic stroke, and multiple sclerosis. Before joining the Agalliu lab, he worked as a technician in the lab of Heidi Stuhlmann at Weill Cornell Medical College, exploring the role of microRNAs in murine development. Michael also currently works as the clinical research coordinator for Dr. Wendy Vargas at CUIMC, focusing on pediatric multiple sclerosis and PANS/PANDAS.
