Melanie McNally, MD

Dr. McNally is board certified in child neurology and clinical neurophysiology. She completed her residency training at Johns Hopkins in child neurology and her clinical fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital in pediatric epilepsy and neonatal neurology. She subsequently completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the lab of Dr. Kevin Staley at Massachusetts General Hospital where she joined the faculty in the summer of 2021. Her research focuses on understanding the pathophysiology of neonatal seizures and newborn brain injury at the cellular level to improve the translational success of therapies for this vulnerable patient population.
