Marta Bianciardi, PhD

Marta Bianciardi is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Brainstem imaging Laboratory at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, MGH (Boston, MA). Her research focuses on developing in living humans a probabilistic atlas and connectome of arousal, motor, autonomic, limbic brainstem nuclei by 7 Tesla MRI, and on applying these tools in clinical MRI to enhance our knowledge and the quality of patient care in disorders of consciousness, sleep disorders, and movement disorders.
