Kerri LaRovere, MD, is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a Pediatric Neurointensivist at Boston Children’s Hospital, providing clinical care on the Intensive Care Neurology Consult service. She completed residency and fellowship training programs and achieved certifications in pediatrics, pediatric neurology, adult neurocritical care/stroke, pediatric critical care medicine, and neurovascular ultrasound. Her research interests focus on: 1) Promoting the implementation of pediatric neurocritical care as a clinical service that may improve outcomes for critically ill children; 2) Using ultrasound to non-invasively estimate intracranial pressure and detect embolic signals in the brain; and 3) Coma and disorders of consciousness in children with catastrophic brain injury. She currently serves as Director of the Neurocritical Care Consult service at Boston Children’s Hospital.
