Dr. Joseph Kamtchum Tatuene is a Neurologist with expertise in Neuroepidemiology, Neurovascular Ultrasound, and Translational Stroke Research. He is Fellow of the European Board of Neurology and currently a PhD candidate in the University of Alberta Neuroscience Program (Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute). His research focuses on epidemiology, pathobiology, and genomics of carotid atherosclerosis and cerebrovascular diseases. He is on the Editorial Board of the journal Stroke and reviews for Stroke, Neurology & the European Journal of Neurology. He holds the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry Motyl Fellowship in Cardiovascular Sciences and has received awards and funding from the American Academy of Neurology, the Wellcome Trust, Alberta Innovates, the Killam Trust, and the Bank of Montreal Financial Group.
