Jack Parent, MD

Jack M. Parent, MD, is the William J. Herdman Professor of Neurology, Research Professor of the Michigan Neuroscience Institute and co-director of the Epilepsy Center at the University of Michigan. He is a past Secretary of the American Neurological Association, Board member of the American Epilepsy Society and a previous Chief Editor of Epilepsy Currents, as well as a recipient of the Basic Science Award from the American Epilepsy Society. His research focuses on applying stem cell biology approaches to understand epileptogenic mechanisms in genetic and acquired epilepsies.
