Haley Dreslang, PhD
University of Pennsylvania
Dr. Haley C. Dresang is a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania and Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute through an NIH T32 research fellowship in translational neuroscience and neurorehabilitation. Her research examines how language, memory, and actions are organized in the brain and recruited to support communication following neural injury. Dr. Dresang investigates impairments in and interactions between these neurocognitive systems, with an aim to elucidate mechanisms that can be leveraged in neurorehabilitation. Her current work investigates non-invasive brain stimulation, multimodal behavioral treatments, and biomarkers of neuroplasticity that promote post-stroke language recovery.
