Enrique Alvarez, MD, PhD

Enrique Alvarez, MD, PhD, is an adult neuroimmunologist at the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Center at the University of Colorado and at Denver Health. He serves as the medical director for outpatient neurology at the University of Colorado. He is particularly interested in improving outcomes using biomarkers and real-world data to choose the best treatment options. He received his medical and neuroscience graduate degrees through the medical scientist training program at the University of Colorado. He then completed his neurology residency and Neuroimmunology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis through a Sylvia Lawry fellowship from the National MS Society.
