Dake is a third-year medical student at the University of Iowa. He received a Bachelor of Science from UCLA in neuroscience in 2018. He started working in Dr. Joel Geerling’s lab at the start of medical school in 2019 and has focused on identifying the projection patterns of subgroup of parabrachial neurons with different genetic expression. He is interested in pursuing a career in academic neurology hope to continue to be an active participant of the research community as he advances his career
