Chaitanya Ganne is pursuing his postdoctoral fellowship in epilepsy at the Texas Institute of Restorative Neurotechnologies (TINR), University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHealth), Houston, Texas. He is a physician-neuroscientist by training with a dual PhD in the field of computational neuroscience and epilepsy. He is currently working on multimodal integration of polygraphy data including breathing, EKG and intracranial-EEG, to understand the mechanisms of cardiorespiratory suppression and subsequent recovery, during seizures and in sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP).
