Alexandria Soto, BS
Yale School of Medicine
After graduating from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Neuroscience and Medical Humanities, Alex came to Yale interested in post-ischemic stroke complications. Here, she worked as a post-graduate research associate managing clinical trials for acute brain injuries. Under the guidance of Dr. Jennifer Kim, her independent research projects focused on developing a predictive model for post-ischemic stroke epilepsy that includes patient demographics, stroke characteristics, and multimodal monitoring. This fall, Alex will begin her medical school education at Duke University School of Medicine, where she plans to continue her investigation into post-ischemic stroke epilepsy.
