Ajay Menon is a fourth-year medical student at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q) interested in Neurology. Currently working at CTNU (WCM-NY) under the mentorship of Dr. H. Kamel, his research focus is on the relationship between ischemic stroke and atrial cardiopathy. He has worked at the Iadecola Laboratory under Dr. G. Faraco, studying the eﬀects of dietary salt on tau phosphorylation and cognitive dysfunction, subsequently publishing the findings in Nature. He has also worked at ENAG (WCM-Q) under the mentorship of Dr. R. Malik, assessing the utility of corneal confocal microscopy as an imaging marker of collateral status in stroke patients.
