Ahmed Abbas, MD

Dr. Abbas is a chief resident at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine Neurology Residency Program. He graduated from the University of Baghdad School of Medicine in his hometown Baghdad, Iraq before starting Neurology Residency in 2018. Dr. Abbas’ interests include General Neurology, Neuroimmunology and Vascular Neurology. His work has been presented in multiple national meetings including ANA2020. He plans to pursue a career in Academic Neurology after a 1-year clinical fellowship in Neuroimmunlogy at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
